Neurobiology of Lipids (ISSN 1683-5506) represents expert peer-review journal published by the editorial group.

"Neurobiology of Lipids" provides online-only peer-reviewed publication of the results and conclusions of original research in neuroscience of lipids with a particular emphasis on novel findings in biochemistry, biophysics and physiology of cholesterol, other lipids and lipoproteins and their role in neural and synaptic development, regeneration, plasticity, circuitry, signaling, behavior, aging, degeneration, clinical neurology and transplantation.
Special emphasis is also placed on basic mechanisms underlying cross talk of systemic and brain lipid chemistry, the pathogenesis schemes related to neurological and psychiatric disorders, and technology development.
In addition to original research articles and letters, the journal publishes critical expert reviews, commentary, news and perspective articles and their lay language summaries, and editorials on important and timely topics.
The journal operates as a rolling publication, publishing articles as they are accepted.
Post-publication electronic responses on every contribution provide continuous online forum for the entire journal content.
Neuroscientists, Biochemists, Lipid researchers, Neurologists, Psychiatrists and all those with an interest in the nervous system and/or lipid metabolism.
